A mobius strip is found in mathematics, and is a one-sided object. This means you can put your finger on the strip, and follow the surface all the way around and end up back where you started. The apparent front and back of the strip are actually the same surface. You can make one by cutting a strip of paper and putting a single twist in before connecting the ends.
Still doesn’t make any sense to me, but they sure twist the mind to carve!
This mobius strip is carved from the smoothest jade I’ve ever worked with, from Wyoming, USA. A deep olive, it GLOWS in the light. Gooey. A personal favourite.
Measures 35mm in diameter.
Carved from Wyoming jade.
Comes on an adjustable hand plaited cord.
